REALM ROVERS 2021 Relay for Life – Recap

This past June 9th 2021 The REALM ROVERS hosted a successful Relay for Life.

Everyone who attended raved about how much fun they had, and appreciated the safety measures in place to that allowed the event to take place. We have posted below some hot takes of a few of the attendees.

The survivor’s lap is important to me because I beat cancer and I am alive today. I am proud to be a cancer survivor. The luminary ceremony is important to me because I think about my friend, Kyle Fawcett who lost his life to cancer. I remember him by lighting a luminary, I miss him. I am happy to do the survivor’s lap because I get to walk with other survivor’s.

This year, Philip completed 20 laps and received the award for the most laps walked for the day. Philip’s favourite part of relay is walking the laps. He also enjoys the food and the activities.
